In the heart of Claymont

Our Parish Family

Holy Rosary Parish is a community of persons who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Each of us is called by the Father to proclaim the Good News of Christ, to celebrate His love in prayer and sacraments, and to build the kingdom of justice, truth, love, and peace. Individually, we have been gifted by the Spirit in many varied ways; together, we seek to use these gifts in the service of one another and the world around us. We are united in our mission with the  Diocese of Wilmington and the universal Church to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world.

Efforts on the part of the Catholic community, other faith groups, the Medical Society of Delaware, the Delaware Health Care Association, Saint Francis Healthcare, and advocates for persons with disabilities, kept physician-assisted suicide legislation from becoming law in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Yet, some lawmakers in Delaware still think that they know better than the medical community and will continue to bow to outside special-interest groups and promote physician-assisted suicide. You are invited to become informed and involved in this important issue. Visit cdow.org/StopAssistedSuicide for information.
